Capo Vaticano
One of the most enchanting places of the entire Tyrrhenian coast. It offers a natural scenary of incomparable beauty: cliffs overlooking the clear sea with its shades of green and blue, the beautiful bays, white sandy beaches and numerous coves and bays often accessible only by boat.
The beach of Santa Maria di Ricadi with its sand soft and light-coloured, lies south of the Capo Vaticano promontory, nestling in a bay full of the small inlets and coves that have given it its other name, Grotticelle or “Little Caves”. At one end is the rocky spur of Torre Santa Maria while at the other end are the Grotta dell’Aspide cave and Scogli della Galea.
